Camping and Caravanning

For the people who love the outdoors, this is the best way to spend a fun-filled adventure in Finland. Camping season begins mid June until the beginning of August or September. This activity is possible in southern Finland for three months and for two months in northern Finland.

Family camping adventure

Camping sites are ideally located in absolutely dainty surroundings, mostly by water such as lakes, rivers, or sea. Activities like canoeing, rowing, hiking, swimming, or fishing are just some of the wonderful things you can do while camping. Similarly, there are at least 300 sites for caravans where it can link to electricity supply. While in winter, caravans can be available at winter sports centres, hostels, or hotels. Caravans are also available for hire, just ask about it from a local tourist office. It would be a good idea to make reservations ahead of time.
